Harmonics

Harmonics (or chimes) are those bell-like high tones you hear on many classic dobro recordings. There are different types of harmonics. Natural harmonics are the easiest to play, and the best place to start for the uninitiated. Palm harmonics remove many of the limitations of natural harmonics. Finally I show you a trick so you can move a natural harmonic! Harmonics add a new tonal palette to your playing, and I consider them an essential technique.
